我首次造訪英國是在2008年春天，從此就讓我對於英國的自然風光與西式毛鉤文化深深著迷。就在那次，小左、大軒與我在機緣下認識了英國的毛鉤釣友—理察及保羅，並且在他們的協助下造訪英國的私人水域垂釣。回國後，想再次造訪英國的念頭一直揮之不去。
2010年11月，終於有機會再次前往，並且能與老朋友相聚。
The spring in 2008 was the first time I visited England. I was fascinated by the view of the countryside in England and the English fly fishing culture. Additionally, Wesley, Caddis and I became friends with two English anglers, Paul and Richard, who were kindly hosted us to fish trout in private water. Since that, I tried to manage myself to come to England again.

In the November of 2010, I finally had a chance. I felt exciting when I stepped on this isle again. The reasons are not only I looked forward to my fishing journey, but also it was really nice to see friends again.
原本保羅計畫帶我到Wales作釣，但無奈前一周的大雨，造成河水上漲，於是他只得換到漢普郡(Hampshire)的小溪。到了當地市中心停車場，保羅囑咐我下車並換上涉水服。
我吃驚地問道：「難道我們要在市中心釣魚嗎？」
「沒錯！就是市中心。」保羅肯定地回答。
而這條名為安通河(R. Anton)的小溪正是泰斯特河(R. Test)在漢普郡的支流。
At first, Paul planed to take me to fish in Wales, but unfortunately, the river was high caused by the rainfall last week. So he decided to take me to angle in a small chalk stream in Hampshire. When I was told to put on my wader in the parking lot of the city, I was a little surprised. “Where is the place we are going to fish? In the city center?’ I asked. “Yes, we will try in the city center.” Paul just answered. The river we fished was River Anton, which is one of the tributes of River Test in Hampshire.
我吃驚地問道：「難道我們要在市中心釣魚嗎？」
「沒錯！就是市中心。」保羅肯定地回答。

保羅找到一個充滿大茴香魚與棕鱒的藻床釣點，其中還有不少魚正在上浮攝食羽化中的若蟲。我們用的是由法蘭克 廋亦(Frank Sawyer)先生所發表的雉雞尾若蟲毛鉤，而別看這款毛鉤是簡單的老樣式，它可是讓這理的魚兒為之瘋狂。因為我倆竟然在2小時內沒換過釣點，而且還拉起十幾尾魚。
我不得不說：「這市中心的小溪還真不是蓋的！
Paul and I discovered a point where many big grayling and brown trout gathered around weed bed. Some of them even raised to take the emerger. We fish with a pheasant tail which was developed by Frank Sawyer, it is a really simple old pattern but it still works very well till today. Because the point was so well, we did not move forward for the rest of two hour fishing. Paul and I caught about a dozen of grayling and trout. Such result was not bad for a small chalk stream in the city center.
