自然界難免會出現畸形的個體，但總不多，於是能給人遇上又更少了。而這尾翹嘴紅鮊卻在半年的調查中被釣上2次，只能說正確的釋獲的確有助於減緩魚類資源消耗，也破除了曲腰被釣上就會死的錯誤觀念。
備註：坊間常以某種魚釣上就一定會死，作為全數攜帶漁獲的藉口。
There is little deformity exists in nature, the chance of catching an abnormal one is much rare. During the period of field work, this top mouth culter had been caught twice within six months. This is a good evidence to prove that C&R practice can reduce the depletion of fishery resurce, it also eliminates the rumor that said top mouth culter can not survive after releasing.
Note: Some people take all of his game with the excuse of some species of fish is not able to survive once it is caught by fishing.
